Advance Queensland Community Digital Champions

There are currently three Community Digital Champions in the region.  Melissa Westcott was accepted as a champion in Round 1 March 2016 and Dennis Murphy and Megan Taylor were accepted as champions in Round 2 June 2016, Geoff Fleming, Steven Pace and Clinton Begg in Round 3 2016.  

Assistive Devices Hackathon  21-23 July Mackay

The Assistive Devices Hackathons will each be a two-and-a-half-day intensive making marathon held in Mackay, Toowoomba and Townsville between July and August 2017. People with a disability - and a well-identified need - will work with a team of makers, mentored by a manufacturing industry expert, to develop a prototype that meets their needs.  For more details or to register visit the website
